Good morning,my dear friends!
It is already ten minutes that I’m struggling to write something clever but it seems that this will not happen this morning…. well,it doesn’t matter much, better if I show you the photos of my lace edging I crocheted and sewed on a dish towel…. my second Xmas gift is stored 🙂
What do you think about my first embellished dish towel? I really would like to know your opinion ❤ I have to be honest and say that, at first, I didn’t find this combination fitting but once finished I fell in love with its domestic look…. now I have to say you bye and run out to the yarn store! My Mum in law asked me to purchase some yarn for her and,of course, I’m looking foward to go shopping 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

PS:the pattern of the granny squares is from a magazine I bought a while ago
It looks lovely , you have picked up the contrast browns in the check.
Thank you ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ I was helped in colour choosing in the linen store I was in…. and after finishing this first towel I realized that the hazel brown fits well with light blue and with pastels…..I have a big amount of yarn of that colour at mine and will renew my home linen with it…. 😀
Should give your kitchen quite a coordinated look.
🙂 🙂 🙂
WOW how beautifully done, you have transformed the every day into something special ❤
Oh,thanks, those are the words I wanted to hear because my intention was exactly that told by you… and I really do hope that people who will receive my towels will use them because you can wash the lace for thousands of time and it will remain always the same.Experienced with my tablecloth… 🙂
I love the idea of blending every day with a vintage touch which is exactly how your towels look, sooo beautiful and practical what a clever idea 🙂
❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ Goal achieved 😀
I love it! The edging is beautiful and perfect for the towel 🙂
Thank you sooooooooo much!!I’m so happy to hear these kind words of yours!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
I is done, and looks so beautiful. I love the idea. Perfect gifting idea. 🙂
thank you soooooooo much ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
What a great gift idea! Is the edging done in cotton? I haven’t tried this as I was worried how it would stand up to regular washing. Such a pretty lace effect.
Thank you! ❤ ❤ ❤ The lace is in cotton and you can was it however you like, it is more resistant than you can imagine.I made mayself a tablecloth which is always washed at high temperature since we use it all the time and it is always the same.
Looks great Tajana! Checks and lace combination is something very unique… Happy crafting! TC! Keep smiling 🙂
Thanks,Sindhu!!! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ I'm so very glad to hear that the colour combination works, hazel brown is really so hard to match with anything…..
